Davis Hill Farm - Davis Hill Designs

Davis Hill Farm LLC has been family owned and operated since 1946, when my grandparents - Corella and Dean Davis purchased it. They moved their family from the farm they lived at with their parents on Davis Hill to the new farm on Garfield Road. My father was raised on this farm from when he was a young boy. He attended Vermont Technical College to study Agriculture and decided to become partners in the farm with his parents.
Now my husband, myself and our children have joined in the business at Davis Hill Farm. We purchased the farm from my father in the fall fo 2006. We created an Limited Liability Company and are currently expanding the existing herd and building a new facility. We hope to grow the farm just enough to keep it a viable income source as well as to retain this great recource in our family for many more generations to come and enjoy.
We have been working on the farm with my father now for more than ten years. We have a great mixed herd combining the production of holsteins and the butterfat and protein of the jerseys. With a few Brown Swiss in the mix. Our intentions are to grow the herd to a minimum of 100 - 120 milking cows. I couldn't think of a better place to raise our children.
